When I start giving you HIIT sessions, the first thing I do is make sure you understand how it is. Too many people today work out without a clue as to why they do what they do. HIIT is any workout in which you alternate between activity of a high intensity, low intensity, and rest stops of extremely short time periods. One of my favorite beginner regimens, for example, when you engage me as your personal trainer Vaughan, is to make you sprint for one whole minute, then walk or jog lightly for two.
